| Abstract |
|
Thin skin grafts taken from the thigh or buttock take a long time to heal and leave permanent scars. A 10 year old female
patient had a burn scar contracture on left upper thigh. Split thickness skin graft was harvested from the scalp and applied
over the released scar surface. Epithelization of donor site began from the post operation 7th day. The scalp skin graft was
well- taken without complications. The rapid healing time and hairs of the scalp provides less pain and no visible scar. |
